This is one of the best places to stay with friends and family. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The view from the room is awesome and has a private balcony in some rooms. These are 20-25 steps to reach the hotel but it is good to reach. Also, very close proximity to the mall road and other places. The food taste is very average which can be improved.

Hotel Monal is very good place to stay in Dalhousie. Rooms are big and clean, washrooms are also very clean. Staff is very much supportive. Food is very tasty. The only problematic thing is that you need to climb down by almost 40 stairs from road to hotel. But the hotel staff helps to carry your luggage to and fro to the hotel. I stayed in Hotel Monal from 25th to 27th Dec 2024. The balcony view from hotel is very nice. The tariff was INR 2000 per night per room. The bed size is sufficient for 2 adults and 1 kid but there is no place to accommodate additional bed. Overall very nice place to stay.
